Another stunning example from the storied firm of the Hills comes this violin bow. Crafted in 1939, this bow was made by then Head of Bow making, William Napier, made the very year he retired from the firm. Mounted in their finest materials, signaling to all the esteem to which he held the stick itself, the tortoiseshell frog and button find themselves to be in absolutely like-new condition. The octagonal stick, also absolutely mint, of beautiful red-brown Pernambuco is both strong and supple. There is a reason that most professionals have a Hill bow in their case; this bow is an excellent example of why. 57.3g
